peeta mellark.

when I finally read the hunger games, josh hutcherson officially became peeta forever.

I read the Hunger Games a year ago, and Josh Hutcherson never crossed my mind XD

The blonde hair did it in for me. I…

LOL I AM A HUNGER GAMES FANGIRL.

At first the blonde hair looked iffy, but I guess I’ll judge it when I see more pictures. He really does change completely with the hair, and when his eyes are blue (because apparently they will be in the movie?) it’ll be completely different. I think in the trailer his hair too brassy, but in the promo shots when its a bit darker it looks better.

and the books…either I’m a romantic bitch with a sick twist or I just really fall for perfect characters, but I loved them. I finished the trilogy in two days, ahaha. I wasn’t too keen on Peeta until his character development really took off.

time to sleep.

Dominique was in bed when Greg walked in, quietly shutting the door. He smiled at her, beaming.

“Artie finally went to sleep.” he said proudly.

Dom smiled and pulled her husband to her side. He slid under the covers and pulled her waist against his. “I’m so glad your parents left us the house. It’s a nice place to vacation; I wonder why they don’t live here anymore.”

Dom sighed. “Mom prefers the house in France; she thinks the climate is better. Besides, I love this place. I never spend enough time here.” she said fondly. They were in her old bedroom; it had been converted to a larger room to accommodate her and Greg. Artie was sleeping in Louis’s old room, which had been converted into a nursery for any grandkids to sleep over.

“Did you have fun visiting your friends today?” Greg asked. “It was nice meeting James again.”

Dom nodded. “Yeah…I realized that I was gone too long. Life is really short. You know I found out one of my oldest friends died? I never knew because I never came home.” she said hesitantly. She thought of Lysander, who had helped her from her eating disorder when she was sixteen. His smiling face, gone. Oh, Lorcan must’ve been torn. That was why neither of them was at the wedding.

“I’m sorry. It really is. I know you were shocked when Mom died.” Greg murmured. “I didn’t see it coming either.”

Dom turned to face him, her fingers drumming on his chest. “Life is too short for me to ignore them. I need to reconnect with them. Jules and Jamie are just the start…I want to see Lexi and Connor.” she said hesitantly. She knew Greg didn’t like Connor very well; Greg wasn’t partial to any of Dom’s exes.

“Are you sure?” he asked, strained.

Dom kissed him lightly. “Connor was my first real boyfriend, Greg. I loved him, but you are my life. I love you more than anything. Nothing can change that. Besides, he loves Lexi. All I want is to reconnect with my old friends. They were too much a part of my life to ignore them.” she pointed out.

Greg tightened his arms around her. “You’re right, and I’m sorry.”

Dom smiled and nuzzled into him. “It’s alright. I know.”

Greg kissed the top of her head. “You never really do leave your home, do you? No matter how long ago, a part of you is still here. I can see it. You’re…happier, sort of. I hate that we have to leave so soon.”

Dom nodded sadly. “I don’t want to go, but I have to. We have our own lives back home, Greg.” she said. “Our sons and daughters will grow up there.”

Greg looked at her. “Daughters? You’re not…?” he asked.

Dom laughed. “No…and we’re going to wait a good long time before another one, okay?” she said. Greg chuckled as well. “I’m just saying; this used to be my home, and a part of it still is, but we have our lives back there. Your family, our friends, everything we’ve worked so hard for is back there. We can’t live in the past forever.” Dom murmured.

Greg held her tight. “Time to sleep, babe.”

With that, Dom drifted off to sleep in Greg’s arms.

Thank you(: I was thinking that, but now I’m sure.

And do you think Evan sounds to feminine? The more I write about him, I’m thinking he’s bordering upon deep thinker or feminine.

I think he sounds protective, you know? He’s definitely not over feminine, he’s a deep thinker. :D

haha okay. I showed my friend an earlier mock-up and she said Evan was too feminine, so I had to rethink his character. He’s just a really deep kid; his dad’s a therapist, so he’s picked up on that mindset XD

The blonde hair did it in for me. I only just read The Hunger Games earlier in the school year and the trailer killllllleeeed me. He’s such a good Peeta. Just enough charm, has a nice face (his jaw=jaw porn), and a deep connection to the character.

plus it’s not bad when your favorite character and favorite actor become one.

@Tay if she’s still up…this is just a little tad bit for you because I’m just rounding up the fifth chapter (:

Upper left is Amir, right is Hailey, and the bottom is Evan, my main character. And don’t mind the shitty writing; I haven’t revised anything yet.

I decided since I left early, I could go visit Hailey. I wanted to apologize for being so absent; maybe I’d even tell her about me being with Briony every day after school. She wouldn’t tell anyone; she’d just mercilessly make fun of me for it. I hung a left and went straight for her street. She was probably up in her room reading as usual.

When I got to her house, there was an unfamiliar car in her driveway. It wasn’t her mom’s or her dad’s. Curiously, I pulled over. Her door opened and she walked out. She was wearing jeans and a sweater; she rarely ever stepped out of her long skirts, tights, and turtlenecks. Her hair was in a high ponytail, another thing I’d never seen. Hailey looked nervous, and she never acted like that. Whenever we were together, she was either laughing or voicing her disinterest with the rest of the world.

That’s when I noticed him; he walked behind her, smiling. He was still wearing his school uniform and clutching a European Literature book. His messy brown hair fell in front of his eyes and he grinned at her. It was when she blushed and leaned against his car that I pulled my car into drive and left.

I felt somewhat betrayed. She’d let Amir Rosenberg in when all she ever talked about was how it was me and her forever. Hailey was my best friend and she was hanging out with Amir without telling me. Ever since John moved it had just been the two of us; now I wasn’t so sure I wanted Amir around. If he was a part of the equation…well, it’d be a lot more of him and her than the three of us. I could tell she liked him and I felt guilty for wanting him to go away, but I knew it would only drive us farther apart than we already were.

ooc: …That is forever Albus.

ooc:….forever Peeta.

I wanna live life, never be cruel;
I wanna live life, be good to you.
I wanna fly, never come down;
and live my life and have friends around.
We never change, do we?
We never learn, do we?
I wanna live life, always be true;
I wanna live life, and be good to you.
I wanna fly, and never come down;
and I live my life, and have friends around.
We never change do we? No, no;
We never learned to leave.
